The projects must have the potential to be replicated and be innovative; innovation and merit account for 40 percent of the judging criteria. Examples of past winning projects are available online.
Eligibility: PreK – 12 certified teachers teaching in the subject of the project at public, private, charter, or parochial schools in all 50 states and the District of Columbia in the U.S. Kids In Need currently DOES NOT fund home school projects.
Amount available per project: Winners receive grants between $100 and $500.
