Purpose: Each year, Elmer's and the Kids In Need Foundation team up to help educators bring interesting projects into their classroom. The grants enable teachers to replicate projects that have previously been funded by the foundation, which are hands-on, inquiry-driven activities. Educators choose an idea from the Winning Projects Catalog, and then submit proposals to receive funding to replicate that project.
Eligibility: Pre-K-12 certified teachers teaching in the subject of the project at public, private, charter, or parochial schools in all 50 states and District of Columbia in the U.S. Special consideration will be given to first year teachers.
Amount available per project: Winners receive grants between $100 and $500; some exceptions may be made for additional funding if matching grants are secured.
Deadline for Applications to Funding Agency: September 30, 2015
District Guidelines: An Intent to Submit form must be completed and sent to the Office of Community Development before applying for any grant for Humble ISD. Please contact Adrianne Holmes at the Office of Community Development at 281-641-8141 for more information.
