Purpose: Here's a great opportunity for support for youth-led green projects. The Captain Planet Foundation is providing funds to school and nonprofits for hands-on environmental projects. These activities must be project-based, performed by youth, and have real-world environmental impacts.
Eligibility: U.S.-based schools and organizations
Amount available per project: Grants are available between $500 and $2,500.
Deadline for Applications to Funding Agency: September 30, 2015
District Guidelines: An Intent to Submit form must be completed and sent to the Office of Community Development before applying for any grant for Humble ISD. Please contact Adrianne Holmes at the Office of Community Development at 281-641-8141 for more information.
