Purpose: The CenturyLink Teachers and Technology Grant Program is a competitive grant open to public and private school teachers in CenturyLink's service areas. The program, funded by the CenturyLink Clarke M. Williams Foundation, is designed to help teachers innovatively implement technology in their classrooms to increase student achievement.
Eligibility: K-12 Teachers. Applicants will be required to sign a certification document stating that they have no role in the purchasing decisions for the school or school district's technology or telecommunication services.
Amount available per project: up to $5,000.00
Deadline for HISD Intent to Submit form: January 10, 2014
Deadline for Applications to Funding Agency: January 10, 2014
• The review process will be completed and grants presented in April.
• All applicants will be notified of their application status once the grants
have been awarded.
