Green Thumb Challenge Grants

Purpose: The Green Education Foundation and Gardener's Supply Company are looking to help established youth gardening projects in the U.S. Through the Green Thumb Challenge Grant program, the organizations are asking schools and youth groups to submit "chronicles of their garden projects" for a chance to win funds to support the continuation of successful projects.

Eligibility: Existing garden programs involving children currently in grades K-12, from schools and youth groups nationwide. Please note that this grant is not for gardens that have not yet been started.
Amount available per project: One school or youth group will receive a $250 prize.

Deadline for Applications to Funding Agency: September 30, 2015

District Guidelines: An Intent to Submit form must be completed and sent to the Office of Community Development before applying for any grant for Humble ISD. Please contact Adrianne Holmes at the Office of Community Development at 281-641-8141 for more information.
