North Harris County Branch of the American Association of University Women

The North Harris County (NHC) Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW), a non-profit educational association, provides grants through its grant program to local non-profit organizations.  The grants will be awarded at the NHC AAUW Outstanding Women of North Harris County Awards Luncheon at Shirley Acres on February 23, 2013.

Eligibility: Applications for the 2012 grant program are only accepted from local 501(c)(3) organizations interested in applying, and whose projects will benefit the community and follow the AAUW’s mission of promoting “equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.”

Amount available per project: up to $2,500

Deadline for HISD Intent to Submit form: November 1, 2012

Deadline for Applications to Funding Agency: December 1, 2012
