CASE for Kids – City Connections 2016-17

Purpose:  CASE for Kids City Connections, funded directly by the City of Houston, supports organizations that address the need for youth services outside the school day. Projects funded by the CASE for Kids City Connections program take place in a variety of locations including schools, community centers, apartment complexes, and churches. Grants are designed to meet individual Houston city council district needs and provide prevention-based programming that addresses gaps in services to youth.  Proposed projects must serve K12 children before school, after school, or during weekend hours.  The time frame to deliver services for this grant is Oct. 31, 2016 to March 31, 2017.

Eligibility: Only the following Humble ISD campuses located in Houston City Council District E are eligible: 
  • BBE, DWE, EGE, FE, GTE, HHE, MBE, SFE, SWE, WCE, WHE, AMS, CMS, KMS, RMS KHS, and KPHS.
Amount available per project: min. $4,000 to max. $10,000

Deadline for Applications to Funding Agency: September 7, 2016
