USA Today Education Grant

Purpose: Since 1983, USA TODAY has made a commitment to education that is unparalleled in the industry.  The programs are currently in place in over 25,000 K-12 classes across the country as well as over 400 college campuses.  Educators reach out to USA TODAY because of the unique format, credible non-fiction text, and topics that are relevant and motivating. Students enjoy reading USA TODAY because of the unique style, bold graphics and easy-to-access information.  The USA TODAY Charitable Foundation does its utmost to fulfill all requests, however grants are awarded on a first come, first serve basis.

Eligibility: K-12 teachers in a classroom setting.

Amount available per project: none; e-Newspaper subscription is the award.

Deadline for HISD Intent to Submit form: None.  Please inform us if you are awarded the subscription.

Deadline for Applications to Funding Agency: None. Awards are made on a first come, first serve basis.

An Intent to Submit form must be completed and sent to the Office of Community Development in order to apply for ANY grant for Humble ISD. Please contact Adrianne Holmes at the Office of Community Development at 281-641-8141 for more information.
