Purpose: The American Honda Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the American Honda Motor Company, is accepting applications from nonprofit organizations and schools for programs that support science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. Environmental projects, job training, and literacy programs also will be considered.
Eligibility: public school districts, and private/public elementary and secondary schools listed by the U.S. Department of Education's National Center for Education Statistics
Amount available per project: $20,000 up to $75,000
Deadline for HISD Intent to Submit form: July 22, 2013
Deadline for Applications to Funding Agency: August 1, 2013
An Intent to Submit form must be completed and sent to the Office of Community Development in order to apply for any grant for Humble ISD. Please contact Adrianne Holmes at the Office of Community Development at 281-641-8141 for more information.
