Purpose: The Christopher Columbus Awards is a national, community-based science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) program for middle school students. The program challenges the students to work in teams of three to four, with an adult coach, to identify a problem in their community and apply the scientific method to create an innovative solution to that problem.

Amount available per project: $200.00 - $25,000.00
Deadline for HISD Intent to Submit form: One week before deadline to funding agency.
Deadline for Applications to Funding Agency: February 4, 2013
An Intent to Submit form must be completed and sent to the Office of Community Development in order to apply for any grant for Humble ISD. Please contact Adrianne Holmes at the Office of Community Development at 281-641-8141 for more information.
